Situated a little over an hour from Hobart in Surveyors Bay our client already had the perfect block with the perfect view, all they needed was the perfect home to live there. Our 2 Bedroom Homepod was designed and built before we transported it to Surveyors Bay for final installation. Positioned with the main bedroom looking out over the D’Entrecausteaux Channel which feeds into the Southern Ocean our client opted for a bathtub in the window just so they could soak up the amazing views. You will see this Pod has a luxurious feel throughout despite its small size which was achieved by our client being able to afford the best quality fittings and finishes due to the affordability of the Homepod in comparison to building a 2 bedroom House.

Podmatrix has just completed it’s second project for Eastside Lutheran College adding 4 new multipurpose classroom pods. The Pods are well designed with functionality in mind and have all the facilities you would expect in to see in a modern learning environment.

Mt Field Retreat
The recently opened Mt Field Retreat currently boasts three, one-bedroom self-contained pods that are well appointed, comfortable and ooze personality. Each pod features a king bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge, a kitchenette with stove top and shower that is inspiring its own reviews! The gardens are landscaped with endemic tree ferns (including Geoffrey, the 14ft tall fern). Spot a platypus in the Tyenna River, see the endangered eastern quolls or eastern barred bandicoots scuttle through the undergrowth and be amazed as the white-bellied sea eagle soar above you.

Y2I is based on the international Education First Youth Foyer program which supports young people to develop and succeed in education and employment and transition to independent young adults.
It recognises that each person has opportunities and resources that can be developed, has the right to make their own decisions and should be supported to work through the things that have limited them, all so they can enjoy a good life.
